If you haven’t been to Amapola co-op Gallery lately (why ever not?!) you’ve missed some big changes.
Our landladies continue to transform the patio of Romero House, bricking over the entire area and adding ever more welcome and welcoming shaded seating.
And–drumroll, please– we have a gorgeous new downstairs neighbor!
The R.C. Gorman Gallery has moved in, with wonderful images by that iconic, internationally -valued artist. Treat your eyes to a visual feast and greet gallery attendants Briana, Ynez and Tantalayo.
Then come on up to Amapola Gallery! We are forty local artists strong, we are artist owned and run, we’re a treasure trove of New Mexico art, with paintings, wood, ceramic and glass, wearables including a vast array of jewelry, stone carving, mosaics, gourds, quilts and more.
Yum! Yogurt on the shaded patio, R.C. Gorman Gallery and Amapola! Come experience us – Romero House Old Town!
Amapola Gallery, daily 10-5.
After a lifetime batting words around like shuttlecocks in an endless game of badminton, it is a pleasure to use them to promote Old Town and my fellow artists at Amapola Gallery. –Kristin Parrott, carver, painter and acorn stuffer
