Good news, you jewelry-loving thrill seekers! Diana Kirkpatrick is back and Amapola Gallery has her!
Fresh from a stint with her husband as full-time RVers, the sadder but wiser ex-road warrior has returned to New Mexico. In her home without wheels she is again creating her sophisticated sterling, stone and glass wearable art.
Texture is a fundamental element in Diana’s work. A silversmith, many of Diana’s designs are done in silver or gold with pearls or other gemstone elements added in. Each piece is hand-constructed, a work of art designed to bring enjoyment to the wearer. Diana says she views creativity as a lifelong journey.
Diana rejoins Jack Boglioli, Brenda Bowman, Michele McMillan, Mary Ellen Merrigan, Joyance, and new guest member Sally Rugala in a seven jeweler splash. What a lineup! Read more Amapola’s jeweler’s here.
Come look us over at our all-New Mexico artists’ stunning co-op gallery in historic Romero House, on the Plaza at 205 Romero, NW, in Albuquerque’s Old Town.
Open 10 to 5 daily.
After a lifetime batting words around like shuttlecocks in an endless game of badminton, it is a pleasure to use them to promote Old Town and my fellow artists at Amapola Gallery. –Kristin Parrott, carver, painter and acorn stuffer
