“Alas For Those Who Never Sing…”

Nineteenth century jurist and writer Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote, “Alas for those who never sing, But die with all their music in them.” For those who “never go to Old Town,” or never go into galleries,” I would add that those who sing our own particular music also need listening ears.

An unseen painting is only half expressed. Jewelry never worn, a mug never tasting coffee, serve only to catch dust. I don’t know about that tree falling in the forest but I do know that the artists at Amapola Gallery need you to hear our “music.”

Experience art for wall, shelf or personal adornment at Amapola artists’ co-op Gallery, in virtually every medium and a wide range of prices to suit any budget.

Come to Old Town, the Conquistadors gift to modern Albuquerque. Experience unique–unusual–always New Mexican–at Amapola Gallery, on the Plaza at 205 Romero, N.W. Open daily, 10 to 5.
